Mojo Hill - Newest Place of Photo Spot in Bantul
Mojo Hill, this is the name one of tourist spot. This hill is located in Kediwung Hamlet, Gumelem, Mangunan, Bantul, DI Yogyakarta. Mojo Hill has been opened as a tourist spot in August 2016. According to Bagio, one of the managers of this place, the location of this tour is in the land area that owned by the forestry. However, from the forestry side has agreed that the land area of 1.8 hectares can be managed and developed fully by the local people. Finally, local people make some spot selfie to attract the attention of visitors.
To take pictures in the spot of this hill tourism, visitors are charged 3,000 Rupiah, where the cost is later used for the development of some facilities that have not been met. There are many favorite selfie spots, include gigantic sunflowers, gigantic bird nests, and colorful ornamental trees. But not to worry, many unique spots that you can enjoy free of charge, like an ornamental bicycle, the iconic of Mojo Hill, and a giant eggshell.
To enter the place, visitors only pay about 4,000 Rupiah to 7,000 Rupiah. For two-wheeled vehicle parking is charged 2.000 Rupiah, while for four wheel drive parking is 5.000 Rupiah, and entrance fee is 2,000 Rupiah.
Route to Mojo Hill
From the city of Yogyakarta, you can go through Imogiri Timur Road towards Mangunan. Until Mangun Village Hall, turn right or east until the Tembelan Gorge. Continue to follow the steep rocky road about 2 km and you will meet the directions board to Mojo Hill.
