Mid April - Weather forecast confusion.

Hello everyone !!

Me and Wife planning to visit Bali this April 2017 as it happens to my birthday. Someone told us that it rains a lot on April and I m observing the weather forecast and it says there will be thunderstorms and heaving rains during that time frame . Really skeptical as we like to explore the place in detail and enjoy the scenic beauty .
