Bungus Beach

Bungus Beach is located in a quiet Bungus bay. The atmosphere around the beach is beautiful and it has natural scenery. The hills surround the beach is looks like a tower toward the sea.

Bungus is kind of sloping beaches with white sand that is suitable for a variety of recreation such as swimming, diving, sunbathing or boating. It located 20 km south of Padang, West Sumatra, and it takes 1.5 hours drive; the beach is easily reached by land transportation. On the beach, there are available tourist facilities such as beach umbrellas and chairs for lazy sunbathing, food stalls, boat rentals and more.

The wide, calm Bungus Bay is located 20km south of Padang. It's only a 45min away by public minibus but a world away from the hustle and bustle of Padang. The quiet fishing village is just a one street town with friendly locals and a narrow rocky beach.The beaches here are very clean and crystal clear too.
