Lengkuas island is one of popular tourism object from Bangka Belitung Islands provoince. This island is one of hundreds islands that covering Belitung island. The main attraction is coming from the old lighthouse that had been build since Ducth colonization in 1882. Today, that lighthouse is still working as a guidance for ship traffic around Belitung island.
Specifically, the location of Lengkuas island is in northern side of Tanjung Kelayang beach, Sijuk sub-district, Beliting regency. The genuine beauty of the island becomes complete by the unique granite stone, white sandy beach and the sparkling sea water. The visitor can have a walk around the island for only 20 minutes and it can be access from Tanjung Binga or Tanjung Kelayang by rent boat.
