The Forest Area of Nusa Gede Island with approximately 16 ha area located in situ (lake), which is located in Situ Lengkong Panjalu District Panjalu Ciamis District. Vegetation state within the Nature Reserve is quite diverse kinds, mostly intact primary forest dominated by plants such as: Kihaji (Dysaxilum), Famous (Ficus Variegata), riots (Litsea sp), Kiara (Ficus sp), Kileho (Sauraula sp), Bungur (Lagerstromia sp), while the plants under them: Rattan (Calamus sp), Tepus (Zingi beraceae) and Langkap (Arenga sp).
Wildlife are numerous and easy to find are: Bats (Pteropus Vampyrus), Lizard (Varanus Salvator) and can also be found several species of birds like the owl (Otus scops), Eagle (Haliastur Indus), King Prawn (Halcion chlors) and Walik ( Treron Griccipilla).
Topography Situ Lengkong Panjalu which is the lake bottom than the lake itself ranges from less than 710 meters above sea level, while the island of Nusa Gede which is a nature reserve area of approximately 733.14 meters above sea level ranges. Climatic conditions in the surrounding area attraction, includes: a temperature between 19c - 32c, with humidity between 70% -80%, 4 to 5knots wind speed and average rainfall 3145 mm per year.
State of especially the presence of water hydrology Situ Lengkong Panjalu derived from groundwater that exist in the surrounding forests, and springs are located at several locations.
To reach this location, can be reached from the city of Bandung with the route: Bandung-Ciawi-Panjalu (Ciamis) yanng is approximately 95km, while from Tasikmalaya can use the route: Tasikmalaya-Rajapolah-Panumbangan-Panjalu (Ciamis) with a distance of approximately 40 Ciamis km's from the City is about 48 km.
Objects and potential tourist attraction that attracted many visitors to this area is, Situ attractions, the island of Nusa Gede, Forest Primary and Kramat Cemetery. The main purpose visitors to the region's most dominant is to visit the tomb of kramat. This region has been established by local government as an object of pilgrimage tour Ciamis. Local wisdom that there is no area of nature reserve make the area disturbed at the presence of visitors in the region.
