Sopo Partungkoan is a traditional house of batak tribe, located in Tarutung Capital, North Tapanuli - North Sumatera. Flanked by two government buildings. Sopo Partungkoan is a big building that built for the interest of arts.

This building has a batak gorga ornament that has a large size, named Sopo Partungkoan. In Batak language, "Sopo" means house, "Partungkoan" means meeting. Literally, Sopo Partungkoan means a House that used for a meeting place.

Tarutung is the capital of North Tapanuli is located at an altitude of 300-1500 meters above sea level, it makes Tarurutung has a cool temperature. As the central of government, Tarutung is no less to be visited.
