Cipelang ecotourism area of 3 ha in forest management area is located at RPH Bacang BKPH Gede KPH Sukabumi West, while the government administratively located in the village of Mount Pangrango, Sukabumi District Talbot.
Ecotourism is situated at an altitude of 1025 m above sea level., The field configuration is generally flat to undulating. This region has rainfall 2700 mm / year with temperatures between 12-290 C.
Ecotourism is composed of natural and plantation pine forests, water sources exist in the form of springs that are currently utilized for visitors. Potential visual landscape in the region of interest is the natural forests, plantation forests and mountains with cool air.
Trees located around the area of ecotourism, among others Jamuju, riots, Jirak, Hamerang, Hamplas, Darangdan, Konang, Seuseureuhan etc., with fauna including leopard, wild boar, langur, partridge, eagle, and cuckoo ketilang.
Tourism Potential
Ecotourism is not only used for daily tours also for camping tourism. Tourism activities that can be done is a picnic area, cross country and hiking, camping activities are available while for some of the camp complex with a capacity of accommodating 50 units of tents

The facilities available at this campground is a camping area of the security fence, shelter, parking lot, guardhouse, toilets, installation of water, and trash.

Ecotourism can be achieved with four-wheel vehicle 15 km from the town of Sukabumi. 135 km distance from Jakarta to take a bus and public transportation from Sukabumi. The road condition is generally good and paved, so it can be passed either four-or two-wheeled vehicles.
