Tirta Empul Temple or Tampak Siring Temple is one of places of interest in Bali, located at Tampak Siring village in Gianyar regency. If you are from Denpasar airport, then you need one hour fifteen minutes to get to Tirta Empul temple by car. The name of Tirta Empul is loaded in an inscription which is kept at Sakenan Temple. In this inscription, the Tirta Empul is named by Tirta Ri Air Hampul and then the name has changed into Tirta Hampul and finally become the Tirta Empul. Tirta Ri Air Hampul is meaning the water emerge or the holy pool (Petirthan) which is the water emerge from the land.

Tirta Empul temple is the name of a temple situated in the village and visited by many tourists, both foreign and domestic tourists. In this temple there is a water spring and also use by Balinese Hindu community to ask for holly water.

Tirta Empul temple use as one of the main route for tour and travel in Bali if you would like to visit Ubud village tourist area, also if you would like to go to Kintamani for viewing mount Batur and lake Batur. In addition to temples, on this tourist site there is Indonesian presidential palace, which was founded by Indonesia’s first president, Soekarno and being use as his resting place during a visit to Bali.

This picture above reminded me the time when we visited Bali it was raining hard :( We didn't enjoy our trip but we promise to be back and see to it that the weather would be nice so we can be able to stroll and enjoy the temples :)
