De Mata Trick Eye Museum is the only 3D Museum in Yogyakarta even in Central Java. The museum displays a painting of three-dimensional (3D) of 120 pieces and make De Mata trick Eye as the biggest 3D museum in the world. Various themes of painting displayed, ranging from nature, public figures, superheroes, sports, ornaments and others. The museum just opened on December 22, 2013, has received an award from the Indonesian Record Museum (MURI) in January, 2014.

What is interesting about this museum? Of course the whole 3D painting is in the collection of this museum is very interesting. Overall it looks like a real painting that can fool the eye, as the name suggests, Trick Eye Museum. Every visitor here are free to take pictures with various themes painting the trick of the eye. Visitors can take pictures with the background as if he were walking on a bridge with a deep abyss at the bottom, receiving a flower from Sri Sultan HB X, interviewing up to shake hands with the famous sports players or being in a tourist attraction, such as Prambanan, Taman Sari, Kraton and Malioboro.

Most of the paintings in the museum's collection is the work of FX. Peter Kusuma. Most of the other painting is a work of art students Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta. According to various sources, the museum is the biggest 3D museum in the world because featuring 120 pieces of 3D painting. Whereas in a similar museum in some countries such as Japan, China, Singapore, Hong Kong and Korea only show an average of about 70 of 3D painting. Access:
De Mata Trick Eye Museum Yogyakarta is about 5 km from the city center. Can be reached by private vehicle or rental, taxi or you can also use the Trans Jogja bus heading to the shelter (bus stops) on the side of XT Square.
