Karimunjawa, also known as Karimun Java, a hidden paradise of Java, is an archipelago of 27 islands north of Semarang and off the coast of Central Java. The main island is Karimun and the second island is Kemujan. The two islands are like twins, just side by side and often mistaken one of another. Karimunjawa name literally means a stone’s throw from Java in Javanese.
The second, Kemujan INDONO Panama shipwrecks that sank in 1955, where at present a suitable habitat for reef fish and dive sites (Wreck diving).
From the group of islands with a total of 27, five of which have inhabited the island of Karimun Jawa, Pulau Kemujan, Parang Island, Mosquito Island, and Island Genting.
