Segaran pool is the biggest ancient poll which described Mojopahit kingdom's ability to adaptwith its environment. this pool was used to recreate and serve the guests of Mojopahit Kingdom. The location of this buliding is at Trowulan.
The basin was made from bricks with 3.16 m deep and 1.6 m wide. The real fuctions of the basin still on archaeological research, but according to chinese source and local folklore it was used a recreation place to entertain foreign enjoys. It is said that after the banquet, the dishes were thrown into the basin showing that Majapahit Kingdom was very rich. The restoration of Segaran basin was begun on 1976 until 1983.
