Tobacco Agrotourism
Jember is one of the largest tobacco-producing regency in East Java. During its development, tobacco farms are not only used as a place of tobacco cultivation but also become a tourist attraction.
One example of tobacco agro-tourism is growing in Jember Jember Besoeki Na Oogst Tobacco Agro Tourism. This tourist area is located in the Ajung Village, Jenggawah District. This agro-tourism is owned by PT. Nusantara Plantation IX, which was developed in an area of 1000 Ha.
The main attraction that offered at this plantation is tobacco production, curing barn, sorting and packing as well as the process of making hand made cigar. There is also a cigar shop and Jember's handicrafts souvenir shop .
