Easy access makes\nDato Beach a choice for local residents and tourists visiting Majene region,\nWest Sulawesi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dato Beach has two parts of the beach with white sand and\ncoral. On this beach, there is a fairly large size coral which is equipped with\na ladder so that visitors who want to enjoy view from the top of rock can\neasily climb it. Visitors will be spoiled with views of color of sea water from\nDato Beach which is graded from green to dark blue from the top of rock. If you\nare not satisfied with just enjoying the charm from above, visitors can also\nsnorkel or swim on the beach to feel the fresh sea water of Dato Beach\ndirectly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Around Dato Beach there are several lodging facilities\nthat can be an option for visitors who want to spend the night in the beach\narea. Every year in August to September at Dato Beach there is an\nevent called the Sandeq Race which is a Sandeq boat race which is a typical\nboat of the Mandar Tribe.
