The East Java\u2019s Calendar of Events 2012 are contains the schedule of some traditional ceremonies, traditions, festivals and performances which held in the cities and the regencies in East Java. It is designed to promote and to publicize the tourism agenda in the whole area in East Java.<\/p>\n
It is important to inform that the local communities usually determine the schedules of the ceremonial events by using the calendars of Javanese, Moslem, and Hindu Tenggerese. Therefore, to assure the exact date of the events, it is advisable to confirm the local Government Tourist Offices.<\/p>\n

JULY 1 TO 15
\nPIODALAN PURA MANDARAGIRI SEMERU AGUNG
\nIt is a ritual ceremony for Mandaragiri Sumeru Agung temple anniversary. In this ceremony, there will be arts performances of Java and Bali, which visited by tourists from Bali and other parts.

\nBELIMBING TRADITIONAL CEREMONY
\nBlimbing traditional ceremony is always held in date 15 on Sya\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ban month, which is goes to July 5 2012. This ceremony is like thanksgiving ceremonial to God, for bless and abundant life in Blimbing Village. Moreover, the people is also asking for safety and prosperious life. During the ceremony, there is Singo Ulung that become the main icon from this event. Singo Ulung is such a lion fitur that lift up by some men.

\nIs an international carnival with world’s longest catwalk couture fashion for about 3.6 km. It designed, worked and exhibited by Indonesian youth generation. In this carnival, the fashion materials are using the recyclable material.
