Traipse around Grand Bahama Island by Jeep and kayak on this 6-hour off-road adventure from Freeport. Drive through the island's capital by open-top Jeep in convoy with your guide, veer off-road through Lucayan National Park, and paddle by kayak through inland creeks of the wildlife-filled mangrove forest. Then kick back on Gold Rock Beach with a picnic lunch, sunbathing and swimming in the tropical Caribbean waters to your heart's content.
Following morning pickup from your Freeport hotel, take a short minivan ride to your awaiting open-top Jeep. Meet your guides for an overview of the vehiclesÂ’ controls, take the wheel and travel in convoy through the city. Each Jeep fits four people.
Tour FreeportÂ’s highlights and pause at points of interest including the Grand Lucayan Waterway. Stop at a beach to soak up the scenery, and then head off-road through a pine forest to Lucayan National Park, about 40 minutes from Freeport.
Hop out of your Jeep and into a kayak for an easy paddle through the parkÂ’s inland creeks and mangrove forests. Listen as your guide points out some of the many bird, plant and fish species that call these mangroves home.
Return to your Jeep and drive to Gold Rock Beach, where you'll make your own lunch with the provided deli meats and cheeses, relax on the seaside sun loungers and take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear tropical waters.
In the late afternoon, drive back to the Jeep base, where a minivan awaits to whisk you back to your Freeport hotel.
