Vatican VIP Experience: Exclusive Breakfast at the Vatican with Early Access to Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel
- Overview
Start your day at the Vatican with a lavish buffet breakfast in the Pinecone Courtyard, followed by a small-group tour (limited to 16) of the Vatican Museums before they open to the general public. See highlights such as RaphaelÂ’s Rooms and the Sistine Chapel before heading inside St PeterÂ’s Basilica though a reserved entranceway to beat any crowds. Alternatively, select the Vatican Gardens breakfast option, limited to 25 people, which, in addition to the Museums tour, includes a coach tour of Vatican City and the gardens, typically closed to the public. No matter which option you choose, you'll see the Vatican's incredible artwork with personalized attention from a guide.
Your tour starts in the morning at the Vatican Museums, where you'll meet your guide before the complex opens to the general public. Follow your guide to either the Pinecone Courtyard or the Vatican
cafeteria (depending on the tour option chosen at the time of booking) to begin your experience with a buffet of pastries, coffee and other items. After breakfast, head with your guide on your VIP tour of the
VaticanÂ’s many famed sights, from the Gallery of Tapestries to the Renaissance art of RaphaelÂ’s Rooms to the Sistine Chapel.
Your tour finishes with skip-the-line access to St PeterÂ’s Basilica through a reserved doorway. Learn about the artwork like
BerniniÂ’s Baldacchino canopy and MichelangeloÂ’s Pieta sculpture before saying goodbye to your guide when your tour ends (you may continue to stay at St PeterÂ’s Basilica, if you wish).
See the Itinerary for more information about the two tour options.
