On this tour of IcelandÂ’s South Shore we travel from Reykjavik to the town of Vik.

We stop at Skogarfoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls. We drive past Eyjafjallajokull volcano (remember 2010?). We visit the stunning black sand beaches and basalt columns of Vik where you can experience the power of the North Atlantic ocean. In summer we might visit Dyrholaey (Keyhole Island), where we can see puffins. We also walk up to a glacier! We might add some stops and skip others on this tour, depending on weather and the general mood in the car

We stop along the way for lunch and snacks (not included).
