Soweto Tour (Morning)
Start your day with a pickup from your Sandton or Rosebank hotel, then relax on the journey to Soweto. The most metropolitan township in the country, Soweto sets trends in politics, fashion, music, dance and language.

Drive past two former Nobel Prize winnersÂ’ previous residence. Then, see the Hector Peterson memorial; dedicated to one of the first casualties of the Soweto uprising of June 16, 1976, when more than 500 people were killed. You'll also see the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, the largest hospital in the world.

Johannesburg (Afternoon)

Hop back aboard your air-conditioned coach to begin your next tour. Gaze out at the historical buildings of downtown Johannesburg that dominate this bustling city. Your guide will point out the must-see Hillbrow Tower that juts out over the city's skyscrapers, as well as the iconic Post Office Tower.
