Explore the world famous Antrim Coast and UNESCO listed Giants Causeway free from the crowds and the queues. Geologically the Giants Causeway is a volcanic formation, basalt columns which naturally take the form of hexagons.Visually, it is a stunning array of hexagonal rocks so regular they seem manufactured, rising and falling along the sea coast. The exact same formations appear directly across the North Sea in Scotland, and from this geological constancy comes a legend of ancient rivalries and Irish cunning.
