Start from Reykjavik and drive over Mosfellsheidi heather to the Nationalpark Thingvellir where you will see the meeting-point of the continental plates and site of the ancient Icelandic parliament (Thingvellir).
From Thingvellir drive to the nice Village of Laugarvatn where we see natural hot springs and natural steambath build directly on top of a geysir.
After that head to the Geysir Area and enjoy the spouting hot spring Strokkur and also the old Geysir.
The Golden Waterfall (Gullfoss) is only a 10 minute drive away from the Geysir area.
On the way to Reykjavik we will see the Faxi waterfall with interesting salmon ladder and few small villages on the South Coast.
