Shore Excursion: Day Trip to Quryat, Sur and Sea Shore

Visit; Wadi Dayqa Dam, Bimah Sink Hole, Wadi Shab, Beebi Maryam Tomb Depart from Muscat at 07.30am, travelling via the Quryat coastal road. Stop at Bimah Sink Hole that used to be a cavern before its' roof collapsed, which is now the bottom, filled with a pristine crystal clear salt water lake.
Then go to Wadi Shab and experience a moderate walk into one of Oman’s most scenic Wadis. The word Shaab means Ravine Between cliffs. Continue through Tiwi to Sur, stopping to view the ancient Ruins of Qalhat. See the remarkable Beebi Mariam Tomb that was built on a hill beside the harbor. Beebi Mariam was an important woman in history; this amazing structure is also believed to be her tomb.
At Sur, visit the Souq, which showcases some of the most amazing Omani craftsmanship. Also see the infamous Omani Dhows, traditional wooden ships still skilfully made by hand to this day. Return to your hotel.
