Participants from as young as fourteen years can participate in this tour, making it family friendly fun. In addition, you will have a hand at ice climbing using the specialised gear provided and the guidance of your tour guide. Transfers are included from Reykjavík for this tour and after the day’s activities a stop at Skógafoss falls will have you marvelling at the power and beauty of nature.

To make your tour the best it can be, there are a few extra details and clothing you need to know:

• We will be doing a lot of climbing, and so ice climbing boots are essential
• Chances are you will get wet, especially at the waterfalls from the spray so bringing a waterproof jacket and pants is advisable
• We have waterproof pants and jackets available to rent just let us know when you make your booking

We have designed our tours to be safe and exciting. All our guides are experienced, knowledgeable and above all certified glacier guides. The cost of the tour includes specialised gear and climbing equipment, as well as an introduction to ice climbing.

You can expect at least 10 hours of adventure on this tour. The length of the tour is why we encourage you to ensure you are adequately dressed to be able to withstand the lengthy exposure to the cold.

To provide you with personal attention, we limit our group sizes to 8 participants per guide.
