Exclusive trip to the city of Reims, the place where French kings were traditionally crowned.
The tour includes acquaintance with the unique Reims Cathedral, visits Champagne Province vineyards, which introduced the famous drink to the world, local wine tastings paired with delicious dishes of the region. You can see the menu in the description below.
This is a 6h-tour (including the bus round-trip) dedicated to fans of European history and architecture and rare French sparkling wines lovers.

The first step: Reims – the city of kings (1h duration)
Reims, the heart of the Province of Champagne, connected to the history of the roman legions, and Aleman tribes with Vandals, and which then belonged to the French kings. Reims is now listed by the UNESCO as a World Heritage site.
Notre-Dame de Reims, the legendary historical and religious artifact of Europe, the perfect example of French Gothic architecture of XIIIth century. Notre-Dame de Reims is also the place where the kings of France were crowned: Ludovicus Pius, Charles VIII, Louis IX, Saint Louis, Louis XV Le Bien Aimé, François II, Louis XVI, Carl X.

The second step: Vineyards and wine tasting (3hours duration)
When coming to Champagne, local sparkling wine tasting is a must-do as France takes great pride in its ‘Champagne’!
You will visit one of the most prestigious wine-growing companies in the region, you will get to see the manufacturing process of the divine drink, from pruning the grape vine to the grape pressing, blending and wine storage. You can visit ancient cellars, which hold thousands of dusty glass containers with valuable content, and taste the wine. We invite you to slowly savor the taste of real Champagne in the region with a long-lasting tradition of noble drinks production. Centuries ago, the local wines were appreciated by French monarchs, your turn has come !

You will taste 4 different types of Champagne paired with foie gras, fruits, local ham, and other delicacies:

• Reims’s Ham – special ham from Champagne prepared with dried tomatoes, apricots, figs…
• Two unique types of cheese from Champagne – le Langres et le Chaource prepared hot
• Cold Champagne Lentils salad with foie gras
• For the dessert there is a red fruit Tiramisu with Pink Biscuits from Reims
