The Amalfi Coast is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site and cultural landscape. It is an amazing stretch of land where nature mixes with the ancient fishing villages built along the cliffs.

The best way to enjoy the coast in one day is to be guided by experienced drivers on a tour.You will be picked up from your central Naples hotel or cruise port, then follow the road that leads along the Sorrentine Peninsula on the Amalfi Coast. After about 75 minutes, you will reach the picturesque Positano with its houses climbing down the cliff.

The tour continues through two more villages until you reach the town of Conca dei Marini. Here you will stop for lunch in a restaurant with a terrace overlooking the sea before the famous Grotta dello Smeraldo. After this stop, continue towards Amalfi, the town that gives its name to the coastline, an obligatory destination for its history and its beautiful Cathedral.

Finally, you will cross the mountains and reach the last town Ravello, capital of classical music in Italy. A great option is a visit to the enchanting Villa Rufolo, whose gardens have inspired the composer Richard Wagner for the second act of the opera Parsifal.

At the end of your day, you will be returned to your departure point in Naples.
