This exciting, narrated journey along the scenic “Skyline Drive” takes you ten miles into Santa Catalina Island’s protected wilderness area on a 1950’s Flxible Bus. Along the way you’ll see spectacular vistas, deep canyons, quiet coves and an endless blue ocean. Keep your eyes open for the island’s largest inhabitant, the American buffalo, before you visit the Nature Center at the Airport in the Sky. The airport houses the DC-3 Gifts and Grill, where you can purchase clothing, books, cards, and other gifts; as well as a quick bite to eat and famous “killer cookies.” Bring your camera for the picture-perfect scenes that fill the entire tour. *Roads are windy, dusty and rugged. 10% of the proceeds go to support the Catalina Island Conservancy.
