Plus, he may give tourists several tips regarding a safe and comfortable diving. When it comes to the gear or equipment, tourists should have prepared it beforehand. It is because of no available facilities available near to Manta Point.
Apart from manta rays, the dive site also becomes the home of lots of fishes that come in different colors and size. Due to crystal clear water, they even appear plainly from the boat. The next attraction is Mansuar Island. Along the way to Manta Point, tourists are able to see the island with its lush vegetation and white sandy beach. Once they reach the dive site, some signs of manta’s presence are noticeable. Only the guide knows such kind of signs, though. Therefore, hiring a tour guide is compulsory prior to visiting the dive site.
Approaching manta rays in an open sea is a challenging experience. Not all people are brave enough to do so, though. With the help of an instructor or tour guide, it won’t be a problem, even for beginners. What people need to do is to follow the instructions and wear proper gear. An ideal range in approaching the creature is 5 meters. From such distance, people are allowed to take some pictures of manta rays.
