Aug 8, 2007 - man i miss bitung. too bad lembeh straits is not use to be as beutifu. btw the mini zoo (tangkoko) use to have crocodile n one day it got lose lol (found it at the lembeh strait)

Aug 8, 2007 - Toku the zookeeper is a real trip, and he clearly loves his critters and sharing with the visitors. One thing that stands out in my my mind is how friendly the people are there. And the beautiful view of the volcanoes from offshore up by Bangka Island is permanently fixed in my memories. I feel blessed to have been able to go there.

Aug 8, 2007 - yes the people there are really friendly n nice. it is really peacefull there n ppl are laid back n not rushing everything. btw the mountain on bitung "dua saudara" have a really nice view if u just climb half way u can really see the city and the coconut tree line up for miles n miles away
