Meti Island is located not far from the village Todokuiha and becomes weekend tourist destination for people around the island. Despite that the beach is not too special, but like any other beaches in North Halmahera, it has white sand and crystal clear sea water. For those of you who like adventure, exploring the island can be so much fun. On the east side of Meti Island we can see the mainland of Halmahera, while in the other side you will find beautiful line of rocks and unspoiled forest. In some locations you can even find cannon as Japanese heritage during World War II. Once you visit Meti, make sure that you stop and visit at Pasirtimbul island that located just a little north of the island Meti. Meti island islocated in the southern region of Tobelo and administratively included in the Eastern District of Tobelo.

Todokuiha village in the south Tobelo is the entrance to Meti. To get there we can use the minibus from terminal Wosia majoring Mawea then down at the pier Todokuihua. From that point, Meti Island is only about 15 minutes away by motorized boat.
