Museum Negeri Sulawesi Utara is the state museum in North Sulawesi that was build to place the document that related to the local culture, ancient history and arts that remain in North Sulawesi Province.

Had officially open for public since January 9, 1991, this museum has complete collections in categories of Geology, biology, ethnography, archeology, history, numismatics, philology, ceramology, arts and technology. Up to now, it has collected 2,810 artifacts. From this figure, about 500 of them are displayed in the Exhibition Hall and can be seen every workday. These collections are collected from districts and municipalities in North Sulawesi such as Manado, Minahasa, Sangihe Talaud, Bolaang Mongondow and Gorontalo.

This museum is accessible by city transportations such as mikrolet (minibus) and taxi. It will cost you only Rp. 2.000 for each trip by public transportation. This museum opens from Monday to Thursday at 08.30-09.00 local time, Friday at 08.30-11.30, and Saturday at 09.00-14.00 WIB. It is closed during Sundays and national holidays.
