Air Anyir Beach, or locals call it Aik Anyer [air = water; Anyir=rancid], situated at Air Anyir Village, Merawang Sub-district, Bangka Regency. This beach is around 15 kilometers away from Sungailiat, the capital city of Bangka Regency. From Pangkalpinang, this beach is around 10 kilometers away taking Pangkalpinang – Sungailiat main route. Reaching the area from the route, after passing Batu Rusa Bridge turn right when reaching 2 lane road. In the junction, there is a Hakka Temple from Guandi, Guanyin and Dabogong. Air Anyir can also be reached taking the East Trail.

Air Anyir Beach is sloppy white sandy beach with calm waves. Beside swimming, visitors of the beach sometimes catch fish or play football. In some parts of the beach there are also small amount of granite formation. Casuarina trees grow near the coast and there are several huts that are rented to the visitors for 25.000 IDR (around 2 USD).

Air Anyir Village itself is a coastal village with several beach areas. Besides Air Anyir Beach, there are also Pukan beach and Koala beach. Once a year, Rebo Kasan Ritual is held in Air Anyir Beach. There are several small pepper plantations in the village. In Durian season, this village is visited by many people looking for the fruit.
