The Charming Tanjung Kelayang, Belitung

Tanjung Kelayang is settled in Keciput village, Sijuk sub-district, Belitung, approximately 27 km from the City Centre Tanjungpandan. If it reached by using two-wheeled vehicles or four takes approximately 30 - 40 minutes
Tanjung Kelayang, is one of the most visited tourism sites in Belitung. No wonder if the beach is becomes the tourism mainstay, especially in Belitung Regency.

Located in the north of Belitung Island, this beach has a unique panoramic view, where on the west side we will find a cluster of granite rocks which unique and various form. While in the east we will find white sandy beaches along the sight. The beach is facing north and decorated with small islands and line of rocks that stand independently as it grows in the middle of the ocean. There are two unique rocks, where the rock is shaped like a turtle, a giant tortoise and a big bird in the middle of the ocean.

Tanjung kelayang Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Belitung. Tanjung Kelayang is also one of the best beaches to enjoy the atmosphere of the sunset in the Pacific Islands.

The icon of Tanjung Kelayang is the Kelayang stones that are also functioned as the mascot of Sail Wakatobi - Belitong 2011 for Belitung. Those Kelayang stones become the reason why this beach is being called Tanjung Kelayang. The charm of Tanjung Kelayang is by being surrounded by small islands in which will look more perfect during the sunset. Visitors can spend their holidays here by doing diving, swimming, sunbathing, fishing, and many other attractions.

By downing Tanjung Kelayang, every visitor can see the spread of granite rocks along the shore. The size is also varied, from the small one to 5 meters high. With the unique formations of granite in this Tanjung Kelayang, it often becomes a magnet for tourists, traveler and photographer for hunting and capturing the special moments.

To reach Tanjung Kelayang is easy. After arrive in airport, we can use rent car or motor. We can heading to Tanjungpandan first, for about 16Km or just directly go to Tanjung Kelayang for about 30Km.
