Tumbak village is a tourist paradise in North Sulawesi. It is located in Posumaen district, Southeast Minahasa Regency, about 3 hours drive from the city of Manado. Tumbak village has a characteristic form of settlement with houses lined up on the water. The word Tumbak is an acronym of mangroves which covers 1 hectare area and dominate large parts of the village.

After reaching Tumbak village, you can continue the journey to Tumbak island by boat. Boat rental services can be found in the village pier. Most residents of this traditional village are fishermen and open boat rental services. The location is not too far from the pier, it only takes about 10 minutes by fishing boat to reach Tumbak island.

Tumbak island is different from Tumbak village. The island is uninhabited and has an area of less than 1 hectare. Although small, it offers a variety of activities marine tourism because of its natural beauty .
