    Malioboro Street Yogyakarta



    Uncompleted if we comes to Yogyakarta without visiting Malioboro Sreet. Malioboro is a “trade mark” of Yogyakarta.     Malioboro Street, is an icon of Yogyakarta as a tourism city in Indonesia. Everyone who ever travel to Yogyakarta, surely not want to miss the chance to walk down the street in the heart of Yogyakarta.

    In Malioboro area, you can enjoy some of the attractions include Tugu Yogyakarta, Great House, Beringharjo, Vredeburg, and Monument Serangan Umum 1 Maret.

    In addition, a very famous Malioboro street with street vendors selling various souvenirs typical craft Yogyakarta are like puppets, batik, rattan ornament, silver, handicrafts from bamboo, blangkon, miniature vehicles of Yogyakarta, and various accessories. There ‘lesehan’ stalls at night which sells typical food of Yogyakarta, ‘Gudeg Jogja’. Malioboro is also famous as a gathering place for artists who often express their ability to play music, painting, pantomime, and others along this road.
