    The Most Beautiful Village is Pariangan Village Minangkabau



    The name of the village is Nagari Pariangan located in Tanah Datar, West Sumatra. Pariangan is the oldest village in Minangkabau and be right on the slopes of Mount Merapi, which is about 15 kilometers from the city Batusangkar.

    When visiting this village, you will be treated to beautiful scenery and culture and architecture of the building is still maintained to this day. You may also find that most of the people are still using traditional building Pariangan Minangkabau, namely the longhouse. Many of them even hundreds of years old, you know. The existence Ishlah Mosque which is the oldest village in the realm of Minang add to the rich cultural heritage Pariangan.



    In the early part of the village you will be treated to views of the plantation of corn and some other crops. You have to walk a few minutes before arriving at the settlement. Like the rural areas, settlements in Pariangan not too dense, so you can freely enjoy the village atmosphere.

From the city of Padang, you can use the bus, private car or car travel with a travel time of about two hours. Meanwhile, from Batusangkar, Nagari Pariangan can be reached by bus, minibus or motorcycle with just 20 minutes.
