Akbar Cave

Goa Akbar or Akbar cave, is one of the most visited object in Tuban. Unlike other Goa, this cave is situated on a hill and it's not easy to reach.

Akbar cave is a beautiful natural cave, there is freshwater ponds and goldfishes which are well maintained. Goa Akbar's name is derived from a tree that grows in front of the cave, the Akbar tree.

In some rooms inside the cave is believed to be a place to meditate by Sunan Bonang and Sunan Kalijogo. On the other side of the cave there is a room that can be used by visitors to pray. This section has a ground floor that has been coated with white and black ceramic as a marker of the prayer line.

There is a large room inside the cave named Paseban Wali who was once believed to be used by the Walisongo to gather and convey the teachings of Islam. There are also stalactites and stalagmites as well as a room decoration beautify this cave. Beautiful.
