    Museum Subak Sanggulan

    Jalan Gatot Subroto, Sanggulan Village, Kediri District, Tabanan District, Bali Province, Indonesia. Subak Museum is the only museum that explores all things that pertain to agriculture in Bali . Subak Museum is exhibiting miniatures complete with pictures of the manufacturing process, such as the stages of finding water sources, making the water tunnel and build the dam, and create a liaison channel to drain water into the rice fields of the population. Subak Museum also has an audio-visual data that explains about the process of rice cultivation, ranging from members of the Subak deliberation, an agreement setting the water, and the ritual of asking the abundant harvest.

    In addition, the museum is also showing off the tools of traditional Balinese farming, such as cutting tools and grinding rice, a tool for plowing fields, a tool to fix irrigation canals, as well as traditional miniature kitchen complete with layout and furniture to cook rice. Subak Museum Visitors can also gain knowledge about the agricultural facilities with visiting libraries in this museum complex.

    Collection of books in the library is complete, starting from various cross-disciplinary study on the Subak system until the problems of agriculture in general. Subak museum can be visited on Monday-Saturday 8:00 to 16:30 hours and 08:00 to 13:00 hours Friday. As for Sundays and national holidays closed.
    Tabanan is about 20 km from Denpasar, capital city of Bali province. From the city of Denpasar, travelers can use public transportation (buses) to Tabanan city bus terminal. From this terminal, tourists can ride public transportation (bemo) 2 km to reach the location of the Museum.
