    Penglipuran Village, Bali

    Administratively Penglipuran Indigenous Village is located in Kubu Village, Bangli District, Bangli Regency, Bali, Indonesia. Bali is an island that holds millions of enchanting beauty. In addition to the island known as island of a thousand temples and because of the many Hindu houses of worship (temple) on the island with a beautiful landscape, Bali is also often referred to as the island of a million because of the diversity of cultural symbols and customs that are still strongly attached to the people of Bali.

    Penglipuran name itself has several meanings. Some say that Penglipuran eling derived from the basic word that means "remember", and pretend that it means "ancestral land". So, Penglipuran defined as "remembering ancestral lands." The second meaning is penglipur or entertainer. In addition, there is also another meaning, namely relaxation. This is because since the days of the kingdom in Bali, the village has become a thing about resting place.
