Karang Hawu Beach - Charm of Rock Scenery and Ruins in Sukabumi
West Java has an abundance of charm that are not less interesting with East Java. In the western city of Pelabuhan Ratu, Sukabumi, West Java, precisely in the District Cisolok, there is a wide beach with characteristic cliff jutting into the sea, while on the other side there is a brownish white sand that stretches. The beach is named "Karang Hawu". It is 16 km or 18 minutes from the Fish Market of Pelabuhan Ratu.
Karang Hawu Beach is on the edge Jalan Bayan-Cisolok that connecting Sukabumi with district in Banten. The length of the coastline is up to 4 km with two different sides. In addition to the origin of its name, apparently Karang Hawu Beach is also famous for the myth that supposedly said rock jutting into the sea, "Nyi Roro Kidul" throne as ruler of the South Sea. Location of Karang Hawu Beach is close to the tourist area of Pelabuhan Ratu that located in the village Cikakak, Cisolok subdistrict, Sukabumi, West Java. If from Sukabumi city center, this beach is about 73 km. There are many activities that can be done at this beach, including surfing, swimming and fishing, relax while enjoying a view of the cliffs, walks along the beach and more.
Access to the Karang Hawu Beach is quite easy because it can use public transport or private vehicles. If you use public transport then it could of Pelabuhan Ratu Terminal takes about 20 minutes. Whereas if you use a private vehicle, it can adjust to these public transport to the Karang Hawu Beach.
