The Salt Water Lake in Satonda, Dompu - West Nusa Tenggara

Satonda Lake

The lake is very unique, there is a salt water lake in Satonda, Dompu of West Nusa Tenggara. It is said that Satonda posed by the eruption of Mount Tambora in hundreds of years ago. The formation of the salt water lake, a tsunami caused by the eruption makes sea water flooded the island.

Uniquely, Satonda still hallowed by the surrounding community. Right on the edge of Satonda Lake was there a tree kalibuda that reputedly believed to grant the wishes. May believe it should not.
