Visiting The Exotic Waijarang Beach in Lembata Island, East Nusa Tenggara
The excellence of Waijarang Beach is of course the stretch of sand and coastal views. The sheen of the beach sand is so exciting when blazing to the beach. Waijarang Beach is located in Nagawutung District, Lembata Island, East Nusa Tenggara. The fine white crystals of this beach is also emit light along the shore. At that time, Mrs. Susi told the people of Lembata to keep the Lembata Sea to stay blue and to take care of the beach so as not to be contaminated with garbage.
About 2 kilometers to the east of Waijarang Beach, Lembata District Government also arranges hills as high as 50 meters above sea level. At the top of the hill, there is built courtyard with seating. From the court, tourists can see the coastal scenery, Adonara Island along with towering Mount Boleng. In front of the court, there is built a concrete pillar bearing the words "LOVE", which is painted a golden color. The monument is 4 meters high from the top of the hill. In addition to the monument of "LOVE", there is also built with a capital letter of "LEMBATA" red. Monument of "LOVE" and Lembata Statue can be read from a distance of 700 meters, which was built with a budget of 1.4 billion Rupiah. People call it a "hill of love".
As for 3 kilometers to the west of Waijarang Beach, there is built Kuma Resort. At least 15 units of 15 x 15 meter houses will be built. The main material of the house comes from wood. There is also an emergency port made of ulin wood as a place of travel, swimming, or snorkeling. The length of the emergency dock is almost 30 meters. Kuma Resort is located in Kuma Bay about 20 kilometers from Lewoleba. Just like Waijarang Beach, the sand and blue sea are so stunning. These destinations support the existence of Waijarang Beach.
Reaching out to Waijarang Beach is easy. Tourists can travel overland from Lewoleba, the nearest town where there is a harbor with travelling time is less than half an hour as it is less than 10 kilometers away.
