Timang Beach is located in Anggolo, Purwodadi, Tepus, Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. The same location with Jogan Kulon Beach. Like another beach in Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta. This beach has beautiful white sand in the left and right side of Timang beach there are cliff that overgrown with Pandanus that make the cliff look green and beautiful.

In the left side cliff of Timang Beach there are beautiful place for just to sit and have a look the beach and the beautiful view of another beach that can be seen from here. On the peak of cliff you can enjoy see sunset if you come in the afternoon. The orange sun will sink on the sea. Exquisite afternoon view that will make your photo look awesome and incredibly beautiful. The best thing that make Timang Beach very special from another beach in Gunung Kidul is there is Gondola. The gondola is a simple wooden box equipped with several pulleys and nine ropes with no warranties; no one can guarantee that the rope will not break or that the gondola is not worn out.

The gut-challenging gondolas are the only means of transportation used by the lobster collectors to take them from the coral hills at Timang Beach to the neighboring Watu Panjang Island. However, since the last years, many tourists have come to have a try on the sensation of danger of riding on a gondola. The view served at Watu Panjang Island is of incomparable charm.
