JEMBER

Jember is one of the regencies' located in the eastern part of East Java Province, which has potential tourism aspects to develop in general. Geographically it is in the side of Indonesian ocean in the south, Jember has beautiful views along the beach. In the northern and eastern part of Jember, there are mountain ranges that make this areas have some spectacular natural sight waterfalls. Jember is also famous for its plantations areas. Therefore there are a lot of foreign tourists who like this agro tourism.

Papuma Beach
Beside Watu Ulo beach, there is a Papuma beach with its white sands that make its more interesting. Along the beach, beautiful white sands spread to see and to enjoy on walking. The beach is always used as the place for sunbathing by foreign tourists. Besides the beauty nature, it is also rich with of fauna like lizard forest cock, various birds, pig, deer porcupine, scaly anteater and many others. For more perfection in enjoying the panorama at Papuma, there is a restaurant which provides Indonesian and specific Papuma food, baked fish. The visitors can reach the location by public transportation or rental car in 30 minutes from down town.
