http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com Yogyarkarta, prounced "jogja" is located in Central Java and is a potent, vibrant, area with much to see. This is where we joined up with our Imaginative Traveller group for the next two weeks of exploration. We'd travel from Central Java, through East Java, and ferry over to Bali where ex-Marine (husband, Steve) and my portion would end. Others would extend another week into Lombok. Negotiated and hopped into a becak (the local rickshaws operated by a bicyclist) and set off to see the sights.

May 31, 2009 - I think Indonesia is an underated country. If you scuba or dive, visit Sulawesi (watch the videos). Sulawesi also has the Torajan culture and much more. Keep on watching and you'll see videos on Borodubur, Mt. Bromo, Bali, great food and very friendly people. Lots to see in some of Indonesia's 15,000 islands!
